Our Vision
Our play based program provides children with meaningful opportunities to develop as inquisitive, engaged and confident learners. Through play, children are introduced to important cognitive concepts and social and emotional skills that support a positive transition to school and beyond.
Play allows children to explore, experiment, problem solve and develop the dispositions they need to become confident and capable lifelong learners. Through open ended and play based experiences, children are exposed to literacy and numeracy concepts in meaningful and engaging ways, while developing skills such as communication, creativity, collaboration, resilience and independence.
We believe children learn best when they are actively engaged, curious and given opportunities to learn through hands on experiences. Our program embeds learning into play and everyday experiences, allowing children to develop important skills and knowledge in a way that is meaningful to them.
We also use OWNA to support communication and administration between families and the service. Families can access important information, reminders, bookings, CCS information and other service updates through the platform, helping to keep communication simple and connected.
Our approach supports children to build the confidence, skills and dispositions they need to thrive as learners, both now and as they transition to school and into the future.

Cardiff South Early Education acknowledges The First Nations People as the traditional custodians of this land - we pay our respects to elders, both past and present, and acknowledge The Aboriginal people for this beautiful land on which we play and learn.
Our educators sought to embed the learning of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and history, we embed this in our daily program aiming to enhance our childrens' understanding in order to close the gap.
