Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a bond required?
Yes. A one off, non refundable $120 enrolment fee is required once you accept your child’s offer of enrolment. This secures your child’s place with us.

What ages do we cater for?
We provide care for children aged 2 to 5 years.

What hours do we operate?
We are open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm. We are open 50 weeks of the year, with a 2 week closure over the Christmas period, as well as public holidays.

How many children are at our centre each day?
We are licensed for up to 29 children each day. Our small group size allows us to provide a warm, personalised and homely environment where educators can build strong relationships with each child and family.

Do we offer a transition to school program?
Yes. For children preparing to start primary school, we provide a transition to school program throughout the year. Our program supports children to develop important skills and dispositions including resilience, confidence, persistence, getting along with others and organisational skills.

We also work closely with local schools and, where possible, our educators visit the schools children will be attending during orientation. This helps children become familiar with their new environment and supports a positive and confident transition to school.

What should my child bring to preschool each day?
We ask families to provide a SunSmart hat, safe shoes, a drink bottle and three spare sets of clothing suitable for all seasons. Please pack everything in a small backpack and clearly label all belongings with your child’s name.

Is food provided?
Yes. We provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late afternoon snack for children who are here after 5:00pm.

Morning tea and afternoon tea are freshly prepared onsite in our kitchen by our educators. Lunch is freshly prepared and delivered by Kids Gourmet Food, providing children with a variety of nutritious and balanced meals.

We encourage children to be involved in mealtimes and develop positive relationships with food through social experiences, independence and opportunities to explore a variety of foods.
